Dawn Lady’s hostel was started by Mr Anbuchelvan, an architect, in 2011. The building was specifically designed to be a ladies hostel; hence the rooms have good ventilation and ample sunlight. Hostel is just behind INFOSYS and at a walkable distance from OMR. 24 hrs transport available from OMR makes it easier for them to commute to and from their work places. The hostel is surrounded by good hotels, hospitals, bus stands and shopping malls.

There are in total 24 rooms in the premises. Two types of rooms are available: two-sharing and four-sharing basis. The aesthetically done up modern interiors would appeal to the women of today. All the rooms are clean and well kept with cupboards, mirrors, and furniture. There are attached toilets and baths in all the rooms in addition to the A/C and geysers. News papers are available in the lobby. A security guard mans the place 24 hrs a day. There are facilities for parking two wheelers. Working women who face a lot of stress in their work places can come home for a clean and hygienically prepared food cooked with RO water. And the best part is that food is served in buffet system in a spacious dining hall with TV.
